Teen and children's programs from the early 2000s at the Hollins Library! We can't wait to see you on Friday, 11am as we celebrate as we are Booked for Renovation! Exciting things are happening at your Hollins Library.
We are getting ready for our Booked for Renovation event on Friday, 11am at Hollins. Check out these photos from the early 2000s of children's events. Computer camps, pet shows, and more fun.
You asked for more, and we can deliver! How would some of our other pets use the library?
Zuzu would knock 3D prints off from the desk one by one while making eye contact with staff.
Birdie would be a part of the drama club and hang out on the beanbag chairs.
Millie would check out TV series, like Magnum PI DVDs. (Go Tigers!)
Marla would come to the library to meet new friends and attend a fun program!
Hunter Gray would people watch and look for his next prey.
Mildred would checkout cookbooks with every intention of trying new things but orders takeout instead.
Link would play in the children’s area and have to be told to stop running.
Loki would be napping in a sunny window and would wait for someone to vacate a chair so that he could steal it.
Seamus would be using a library computer to look up the best scratching posts on Consumer Reports.
PJ wouldn’t put anything back in the correct spot…
Freya would randomly sprint and meow loudly through the stacks for no reason.
What would your pets do if they worked at RCPL?
We are counting down to our Booked for Renovation event on Friday, 11am at the Hollins Library. Here are some photos from over the years! These are all from the 1993 addition to the building.
