Lovely to see Barry Keoghan speaking to Variety about returning to Cannes, choosing work with real personal connection, and our new film Lemonade.
This one means a great deal. As a producer, I am always drawn to stories with heart, purpose and truth, and Lemonade has had that from the beginning.
Barry describes the film as feeling “too to-the-bone” at moments, adding that it made him emotional just talking about it, “but it’s beautiful.”
It is all that and more - written and directed by the brilliant Kim Bartley.
So pleased to be part of this film, and so proud of Kim, Barry, Lewis, Carla, Justin, Eileen, Derry and everyone who poured such care and heart into making it.

TESTIMONY is a profoundly moving documentary, chronicling the fight for justice by survivors of Ireland’s Magdalene Laundries and Mother and Baby Homes.
It captures the determination of these women, supported by the advocacy group Justice for Magdalenes (JFM), to hold the Irish government accountable for decades of institutional abuse.
From grassroots campaigning to delivering powerful testimony at the United Nations, their journey is a testament to the strength of collective action and the enduring impact of these dark chapters in Irish history.
This screening will feature an introduction by the film’s producer, Farah Abushwesha, Jane Libberton, daughter of Philomena Lee (whose story was shared in the film Philomena), and Gabrielle O'Gorman, survivor and activist.
