Led by Owner Fin Murray who has been in the architecture world for 25 years transforming residential and commercial projects into inspiring and highly functional dreams
Fin loves creating designs that respond to the place and the people who use them.
He overseas all our residential and commercial projects and spends his time traveling back and forth from Sydney to Byron to make sure everything goes smoothly onsite
When he isn’t working on something creative Fin is addicted to surfing and likes spending time with his 3 boys in the ocean and out in the bush mountain biking. He also loves looking after the land he lives on and sit in stillness drawing. But let’s be honest, with 3 wild boys around, there isn’t much of that happening 😉

Anna is our Studio Manager and overseas all our client relationships as well as Marketing.
Before joining Rockpool Studios, Anna completed a degree in Psychology and worked as a Business Development Manager in the Construction, Mining and Oil & Gas Industries.
Anna’s biggest passionate is connecting with people and creating a top class experience for our clients.
Outside the office Anna loves spending time with her 3 boys and can often be found paddling out the Pass on her longboard right next to her little grooms.

As the density of built form increases across the town centre of Byron good design becomes ever more critical,.
A kind of Byron Bay brand of tropicial modernism is emerging, which is distinct from our Gold Coast neighbours.
Drawing on Southeast Asian influences of built form and materiality, this project contributes to the tapestry of buildings on the main street - Jonson St while respecting the scale and context of its neighbours.
On a deep sloping site with rear lane access, the scope includes a commercial street frontage, 7 apartments, a dwelling and basement parking.

Eco Chalets
As part of a broader development we are designing which includes a function centre and tasting rooms, these luxury eco-chalets will sit amongst the granite bolders and succulent vines of this stunning vineyard in the Granite Belt Wine Region in SE Queensland.
Being frequent visitors to the area and having built our own luxury accomodation nearby, we are well equipped to design the optimum cold-climate getaways that will bolster the offer for what is already a vibrant destination.
