Class of 2026: Seniors > Juniors > Sophomores > Freshmen
An unforgettable four-year journey of friendship and formation that culminates on Sunday at Municipal Auditorium!
Congratulations, Class of 2026! AMDG
Congratulations to James O'Farrell '27 who has committed to continuing his academic and athletic career at Cornell University!
James earned the starting left tackle job going into his junior season, but his year was limited to three games due to an injury. During the @rockfootball_ 3-0 start with James on the field, the Hawklets had wins over St. Pius X, Ray-Pec, and Olathe North while averaging 39 points, 355 total yards, and 172 rushing yards per game.
Now standing 6'6" and 285 lbs., James is healthy heading into his senior season and will be protecting the blindside again as Rock Football enters 2026 as a top team in Missouri. James was also a 2025 Academic All-State honoree.
Way to go, James - Rock State! AMDG

Last week the Rockhurst Choir Program hosted its annual Hawklet Showcase in the Rose Theater! It is a student-led event (from song selections to auditions to showtime and the emceeing) that ran two nights this year based on the popularity of last year’s one-night-only show.
It’s an energy-filled evening(s) of talent, courage, showmanship, and even a little improv from Rock Singers in the school's most popular co-curricular program which boasts over 200 students! It included performances from all four choral groups and 22 musical soloists with tailored accompaniment by a professional live band. AMDG

ALL-AMERICAN (AGAIN)!!
Congratulations to Draden Torline '26 on being the first @rockhurst__lax goalkeeper ever to be named a USA Lacrosse All-American twice! Draden is a three-year starter in net, and a three-time LAKC All-Metro honoree.
As a junior, Draden broke both the LAKC and Rockhurst program records for save percentage, stopping 66.7% of shots faced. In 2025 he allowed just 4.8 goals per game, and this season has helped lead the Hawklets to a 10-0 record in LAKC games while allowing just 1.9 goals per game and stopping 69.4% of shots. In Draden's three seasons as the starter, Rockhurst is 41-8 overall and 32-1 in LAKC play.
Draden has signed to continue his lacrosse career at Harford Community College (MD), which has won four consecutive NJCAA Lacrosse National Championships.
Draden and the Hawklets take on Pembroke Hill tonight in the LAKC Semifinals at 6:35 p.m. at Bishop Miege for a spot in Friday night's LAKC Championship.

Johnas Deeken '28 has successfully completed the Youth Diplomats Institute (YDI)! This is a selective, school year-long leadership and career development experience for high school students who want to think globally and lead locally.
Hosted by Global Ties KC, YDI connects students to Kansas City's global leaders, organizations, and opportunities. Completion of the program requires participants to stay engaged throughout the program and create, implement, and present a Capstone project that benefits youth.
