Cancellations happen often within our industry. Weather dependant, jobs not passing inspection, unforeseen circumstances, unable to book in concrete for a certain time, the list goes on. If you require a pump on the day or the next, don't be afraid to give us a call because you never know your luck - we might have had a late cancellation!!
We understand jobs can chop and change, and we do require 24 hours' notice for a cancellation to avoid a cancellation fee if you are booked in to be fair to others who have missed out.
Pumping this beauty of an industrial shed slab in Jilliby this morning.
The Jilliby industrial precinct—centred around Warner Business Park on the Central Coast—is seeing rapid growth, driven by strong demand for logistics and industrial space.
This project forms part of the larger Warner Business Park development, spanning 89 hectares and ranking as one of the biggest industrial sites on the Central Coast.
We’re proud to be involved from the ground up, working alongside our clients at the early stages of each project and helping bring these developments to life.
We just want to say a genuine thank you to all our customers for taking our fuel levy on the chin — we really appreciate your understanding and support.
Like many in the industry, we’ve had no choice with the ongoing fuel price increases. It’s also worth noting the concrete plants are in the same boat and are now applying their own separate fuel levies as well.
When our machinery is running consistently throughout your job on-site, that’s diesel being burned the entire time for us — it all adds up quickly.
We’re all feeling it, and we truly appreciate you sticking with us through it.
➡️ Introduction of Fuel Levy ⬅️
Due to the continued rise in fuel costs, we have reached a point where we can no longer absorb these increases within our existing pricing.
Effective immediately, a fuel levy will be introduced and applied to all invoices. This will be calculated as a 10% surcharge on the total invoice amount.
Please note, this fuel levy is subject to change in line with fluctuations in fuel prices over the coming weeks.
This decision has not been made lightly. We have made every effort to minimise the impact on our customers, however the ongoing volatility in fuel pricing has made it necessary to ensure we can continue to operate efficiently and maintain the level of service you expect.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Rock Hard Pumping
200 m2 Shed Slab completed this week, for one of our first ever clients starting out 🙏🏼
2 days From Excavation to finished project. @rockhardpumping
Filling the tank every day just to keep the wheels turning. We can hear every industry that runs machinery all day long cry at the diesel bowser ⛽️ right now.
The NSW Fuel Check app can at least help find the cheapest fuel near you.
🚨⚠️ Trade Warning ⚠️ 🚨
A business that respects your work pays for it.
When communication suddenly disappears the moment invoices fall due, that’s not an oversight — that’s a choice.
We’re currently pursuing countless overdue accounts after repeated unanswered calls, emails and formal requests. After speaking with others in the industry, it’s clear this pattern isn’t isolated.
Believe patterns — not promises.
Protect yourselves:
✔️ Take deposits
✔️ Lock in written terms
✔️ Shorten payment windows
✔️ Act immediately on overdue accounts
✔️ Send a formal letter of demand
✔️ Lodge a claim through the NSW local court
Some companies rely on trades being too busy, too trusting, or too uncomfortable to push back.
We’re not.
We stand by our work — and we expect to be paid for it. Every time. For those that this post is about! Shame on you forcing a small business to chase its own money owed for services rendered. We will be following our own advice here.
