Happy birthday to 1989 Inductee Stevie Wonder! 🎶 In 1982, Stevie Wonder teamed up with @paulmccartney for the duet “Ebony and Ivory,” released as the lead single from McCartney’s third solo album, Tug of War. The track topped both the UK and U.S. charts and became one of the best-selling singles of the year.

"Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" was the start of an era - the very first McCartney song to reach #1 on the US charts post-Beatles. George Martin crafted the lush, inventive arrangements for the song in this original handwritten score, which he mistakenly titled “Uncle Arthur” before correcting it to “Uncle Albert,” a reference to Paul’s uncle, Albert Kendall.
