A wedding inspired by a Michelin star restaurant experience requires two things: exquisite food and Unreasonable Hospitality. While surprises were planned around every corner for guests the evening of Adam and Tim’s celebration, one of the most impactful moments happened while seating their friends and family for dinner. Let me set the scene… Taking a page from @wguidara ‘s book (quite literally), I spent six weeks leading up to the wedding memorizing each guests’ name from photos provided by my client. On the day of the wedding - instead of a traditional seating chart - guests approached a host stand (naturally!) where I greeted each and every one of them by name. All 194 of them! From there, my team of hosts escorted guests not only to their table, but pulled out a chair for them at their specific seat. Was this quite possibly the most stressful 22 minutes of my life? Yes. Was seeing the surprise and delight on each person’s face as they were taken to their table worth it? A thousand times yes! I live for these kinds of moments, to give my clients and their guests true, authentic, joyful, and Unreasonable Hospitality. So what comes after @unreasonablehospitality Will?

This rockstar vendor team pulled off a 70 minute room flip to turn a gorgeous circular ceremony space into a Michelin star restaurant experience inspired by the rooftop restaurant at Restoration Hardware where Adam and Tim had their first date. Gretchen Culver (@rocketscience.events ) designed a breathtaking experience and curated so many surprise and delight moments for guests including memorizing the names and faces of all 200 guests so she could greet them by name at a custom host stand for the reception. It was an out of this world experience from start to finish for every guest and vendor involved. One of the ways we create one-of-a-kind events is by making one-of-a-kind fabrics. We work with our stationery or graphic design partner to create custom patterns that get printed on fabric - which we then turn into tablecloths, napkins, pillows, and more.
