Not to be sappy. But the past few months post-Idol were really, really tough on my mental health. Nothing prepares you for the aftermath of being involved in something like that. There were alot of days spent wondering if I should keep this up. Overthinking if I was good enough or just a joke. Anxiety at such an intense level I'd never felt before.
This weekend completely reinvigorated my spirit. Thankyou so so much Bob Byrne + all of Legions Of Metal Festival for believing in our band and inviting us onto this festival. Thankyou to everybody who checked out our set, bought merch and welcomed us with open arms. All the kind words mean so much more than you know. I live for weekends like this. A self proclaimed "street singer" who wanted to be "female david lee roth", I felt a connection with her since the first track I heard on Unlaced! Its come to my attention that Maryann is no longer active on socials nor doing music due to an accident from a while ago-- but I hope it would make her feel good to know she continues to inspire decades after her career. ⛓️🙏👑
