Sometimes we just need to get out on the sun. It is funny how the change of season can spark the creativity we have inside. That inner desire to take the camera out just for the love of it. Simplicity in the process and just enjoyment. As creators we are always telling people or businesses that they should be active in social media and not scared about posting, however, we are guilty ourselves to not do that same principle. Maybe with the change of weather and the change of season there should also come a change in mindset. less polished and more human. It’s always great to catch up and share thought with you my friend @maciag.dk

Some moving frames of winter. It is the longest project I have ever done. To slowly seeing taking shape, is such a incredible feeling. Thanks for the hours in the cold guys. @mormeluka @finn_springborn @olihartkopp @vahine_way_of_life #surf #documentary #filmmaking #coldwater #coldwatersurf

From the outside it always looks simple. A rider, a camera, a beautiful shot. But behind it there’s planning, timing, conversations, adjustments… and a lot of people working together to make it feel effortless. That’s the part I enjoy the most. The process. The collaboration. The small decisions that slowly shape the final image. Really thankful to have been part of this. Thank you for the help! @canonnordic @cbbgrip @keygrip.dk @sixtenlind37 @jonasstepanauskas #filmmaking #mtb #dreamshot #canonc50

We pulled out all the stops for @roc.jc s dream shot 🎥 The Canon EOS C50 was strapped to a moving crane, to capture mountain bikers, all shot on the Canon RF 24-105mm F2.8L IS USM Z to get both super close and dynamic wide shots. We used the Canon EOS R6 Mark III as the perfect “run-and-gun” camera, equipped with a Canon RF 24-70MM F2.8L IS USM to capture all the action in between. And the small but powerful Canon Powershot V1 got strapped to a bike for a dynamic POV shot, a perfect use for its small form-factor The unsung heroes @cbb.grip and @keygrip.dk made it all possible, putting the cameras in new and incredible situations. BTS Stills shot on Canon EOS R5 Mark II with a Canon RF 24-70mm F2.8L IS USM. #canonnordic

@roc.jc 's dream tracking shot demanded versatility and precise control in a chaotic environment. That's exactly what the Canon EOS C50 and the RF 24-105mm F2.8L IS USM Z lens brought to the shot! Mounted on the UTV crane by @cbbgrip and @keygrip.dk , the EOS C50's Full Frame sensor provided the foundation for cinematic footage, all within a surprisingly small hybrid form-factor. The power of open gate 7K RAW recording allowed for post-production flexibility, giving freedom for reframing and punching in without compromise. The Canon RF 24-105mm F2.8L IS USM Z's optical stabilization kept everything smooth despite the bumpy terrain, while the Dual Pixel CMOS AF II ensured razor-sharp focus on fast-moving @sixtenlind37 and @jonasstepanauskas . This combo didn't just capture the action; it mastered it. #canonnordic

This started as a simple idea. A shot I had been thinking about for a long time — and through @canonnordic Dream Shot initiative, it suddenly became real, with a full team and a full production setup around it. Watching it take shape on set was a reminder of how much filmmaking depends on collaboration, trust, and alignment. An idea might begin with one person — but it only becomes meaningful when it’s built together. Grateful to Canon and the entire crew who helped bring this one to life. #Filmmaking #CreativeProduction #Canon #DreamShot #Storytelling

What happens when an ambitious vision meets the latest Canon gear and incredible talent? You get @roc.jc ‘s dream shot!  Together with @key.grip and @cbbgrip dream became reality. With a camera strapped to a moving crane, they captured a high-octane mountain bike tracking shot through a snow-packed forest. With riders @sixtenlind37 and @jonasstepanauskas doing their thing, they just had to focus on getting the shot 🎥

Easier said than done, with an offroad car, a swinging crane and a precise zoom to keep track of.

Luckily the autofocus of the Canon EOS C50 had their back, and the steady zoom of the Canon RF 24-105mm F2.8L IS USM Z meant they could get just the frame Roc had been dreaming of.

My #DreamShot Idea for the challange proposed by @canonnordic is a tracking shot of a mountainbiker. It has been on mi bucket list since I started filming action sports; as it creates such a dynamic and immersive visual. @sixtenlind37 and I are ready to make it happen

A few weeks ago I had the chance to shoot the Danish National Championships in XCO — and it felt really good. After spending the past year working across so many different sports, picking up the camera for a mountain bike race felt a bit like going back to where it all started. There’s something raw and familiar about the sound of the tires on dirt, the intensity in every climb, and the chaos of the race that reminds me why I fell in love with shooting action sports in the first place. It was a nice reminder that no matter how much the work evolves, it’s always worth revisiting the roots — because that’s often where the original spark lives.
