Welcome to Act Out Loud! We are a biweekly play reading series that takes place on the island of Montreal/Tiohtià:ke.
And here is our Coordinator!
Robyn Erin Ellison (They/He) is a queer actor based in Montreal and a graduate of John Abbott’s Professional Theatre program. Having started working backstage doing set painting and costumes, he found a love for performance due to a last minute cast replacement, and hasn’t looked back since. They have previously worked on shows such as Urinetown (Pennywise), Pippin! (Bertha), and Pandemic Round (Cressie). Recently he was nominated for 2 META awards (Outstanding Lead Performance & Outstanding Emerging Artist) for their performance of Georgia in the musical Curtains!, produced by Starcatcher Productions and Turtle Island Theatre, and they are currently working on Contact Theatre’s 5th season show, Spring Awakening (Anna).
Come see Cast A’s last performance of Pandemic Round ♥️ My last performance ever on the Casgrain stage. Today at 2PM and 8PM on jactheatre.anywhereseat.com (Link in bio)

Still can’t believe that this show is done.
It’s heartbreaking that we couldn’t finish our run, but I’m so proud of the work and love that went in to this. I’m grateful for the shows that we did and the time we spent together, even if things didn’t end the way we wanted.
Never really thought I’d have this feeling again after theatre school, a sense of home that feels so short lived. But I’m not worried because I know we’ll be back together again soon, working on what’s to come.
Thank you, to the audience who came and those who were meant to come for those last few shows. Thank you to @starcatcherproductions and Turtle Island Theatre for welcoming us into your space.
Lastly, thank you to the cast and crew of Urinetown, the amazing and talented people that I’ve spent the last few months getting to know, who came together to create something so special.
I love you all ♥️
