After a long, cold and wet winter, Rob and Max were desperate to escape the UK weather and boggy trails, trading them for something a little drier and more exciting.
Having ventured to Molini once before when Santa Cruz launched their third generation Nomad, Rob came up with a plan to revisit the hills that delivered nothing but thrills the last time he rode there, and get back to his favourite Italian riding location.
In their three day whistle stop tour, the boys get to experience some of the best trails the area has to offer thanks to the team at @molinimtb and legendary photographer and Molini resident, Sven Martin. And they do it all on the brand new seventh generation Santa Cruz Nomad,

@rockshox has overhauled its big-hitting, single-crown fork, claiming the only part that remains the same is the axle.
The new ZEB gets a completely new chassis, an updated air spring and damper, as well as a host of new features intended to make it smoother and more predictable on the trail.
Revised damping ranges, along with new adjustments, make it a seriously tuneable fork, too.
On the hill, riding it back-to-back with the previous-generation ZEB, there’s certainly a difference to be felt between the two.
While both feel incredibly supple and smooth, the latest iteration handles bigger impacts with more composure, especially when you’re deep into its travel, recovering quickly, and always feeling predictable and consistent.
When you factor in the price, which starts at £965 / $989 / €1,080 for the Select-level fork, the new ZEB could well be the big-travel, single-crown fork to beat this year.

The new @orbeamtb_ Rallon RS could redefine the lightweight or SL segment of the eMTB market.
Although this is very much an ebike, it doesn’t ride like one. It sounds clichéd, but it’s true.
That’s down partly to how unobtrusive the TQ HPR40 motor is. With only 200W of peak power and 40Nm of torque, the assistance is subtle –don’t expect wild levels of front-wheel-lifting grunt when cranking out of turns.
You very much feel as though you’re doing the bulk of the work on the climbs, but that extra bit of help means you can ride very slightly faster or further. It’s a discreet enhancement rather than neck-jarringly rapid.

@cedricgracia is one of the all-time legends of mountain biking.
From his early days in BMX in the late ‘90s, with help from the likes of Max Commencal, he became one of the sport’s early rock-stars.
The early 00’s were the golden years of mountain biking, with Cedric and his on-track foes battling out week in, week out.
Off the track, Cedric had a reputation as a wild man, with some of the craziest stories in the paddock.
We cover his career, his race wins, his glory at Red Bull Rampage, and some of the unbelievable injuries he sustained during his career.
