Had literally just finished the hardest climb of my life - Lincoln Gap IYKYK. Within a minute of the descent this happens - I grabbed a bit too much back break and back wheel slid out on the wet road. I blame it on being kinda ride drunk from having 210km in the legs and just being thrashed by that climb. Could have been worse- my beautiful new @maap.cc bibs and @specialized_ca shoes took the worst of it 😭 *sorry for the language - the bleep filter let a couple slip*

Day in the life as a @lululemon ambassador hitting the road. Off to Seattle today to help launch the Seawheeze training program. I always love heading to Seattle - this was a fun event and a cool opportunity to meet some of the local Seattle runners. Shout out to @hometeamseattle for hosting and the local Seattle community team for putting on a great event. Onwards to Seawheeze!

30 for 30 triathlon challenge to celebrate my best gals 30th birthday: 30min swim / 30km bike / 30min run. It was a glorious day with glorious people to celebrate a glorious person. Shout out to @samsaracycleclub for the race day fit and @northshoreroad for the emergency service! Love ya Shanimal 😘

Attn: @bmovanmarathon runners. We have to have an honest conversation about the heat. The 'bad' news is that you have to adjust your goal pace and back off, you can't force your way through the heat. The Good news is that the marathon is about so much more than time! The marathon is about pushing your limits, doing hard things and exploring the unknown. There are so many opportunities for triumph and celebration that are not tied to time. Make the adjustment, shift your mindset and get ready to battle. It is going to be a great day.
