Checking out the new Canon C400 and got to do an unboxing courtesy of @f11rentals . I’m really impressed with the specs of this camera and also at the price of $8,000 USD. I remember when the first C300 came out and it was priced at 13k in 2012. That’s about $18,534 in todays 2024 dollars which is insane. This is a full frame 6k camera capable of also doing a cropped s35 and s16 format. Also it can shoot cinema RAW lite and has a triple base iso of 800, 3200, 12800 finally putting it in line with some of the ultra low light Sony models . Looking forward to actually taking it out and shooting a little film with it so will keep you posted on when I do that. As we get into fall , I’m really glad to be getting away from the heat but also very grateful I got to work on a lot of cool projects with so many wonderful people.
