we’re bringing central park energy to the roller rink!
This summer, the Central Park Dance Skaters Association celebrates 30 years of providing free live DJs and a dedicated skating rink in Central Park, also known as the Skate Circle!
On July 3, the CPDSA is bringing their skate magic to Xanadu Roller Arts! Central Park resident DJs Misbehaviour, DJ D, and Rob Scott will provide the soundtrack for the evening.
Established as a non profit organization in 1995, the CPDSA remains steadfastly committed to uplifting & supporting the skate community year after year. The Skate Circle is completely intergenerational, interracial, and diverse in terms of sexuality, gender, and socio-economic class. Skaters range in age from toddlers to 90 year olds, and you’ll often see multiple generations of the same family skating together!
In addition to live DJs, there will also be vendors and raffles to win CPDSA swag and a commemorative photo book! The event is also a fundraiser to support the CPDSA’s ability to continue to provide high quality entertainment and skating in the park.
Beginner skaters are welcome - grab a pair of rental roller skates, and join the fun!
