Last night the Michael Fowler Centre became TEIWA - a powerful meeting of Rob Ruha and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, amplified by the haka force of special guests Te Taumata O Apanui.
From marae-rooted waiata to stadium-sized anthems, the night surged with new works alongside beloved tracks, lifting the entire room to its feet.
One audience member described the finale as a moment of such scale and energy it could easily have opened an Olympic Games.
Ngā mihi to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable Festival moment. ✨
Thanks to Presenting Partner the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. Partnered by Mai FM, The Breeze, and thanks to Creative NZ.
