Glenn Ridge caught up with Hugh Harrison at the Rob Roy Revival to dive into the incredible story behind his Alfa Romeo GTV6 Group A — a truly one‑of‑a‑kind machine with decades of history baked into every panel. Hugh has been the custodian of this car for nearly 40 years, and the stories he carries are just as special as the car itself. This quick chat is only a taste — the full conversation is now live on our YouTube channel. A rare car, a passionate owner, and a hillclimb full of character. #RobRoyRevival #GTV6 #AlfaRomeo #GroupA #HistoricMotorsport

Thanks Hugo Linning for sending these shots to us that he took on film. A nice touch and very much in keeping with the nostalgia of the event.

In the light of dawn, the break of day, Through the waters chill they fought their way; Like their sires of old, to the Motherland They came o’er the sea, and they sprang to the strand; And the blood of the Angles, the Scot, and the Celt Grew hot in their veins as the war fire they felt. In the light of noon, in the bright sunlight, They fought up the cliffs from height to height; And the sun shone down on that scene of strife Where the ‘Soul of Australia’ came to life, As the blood of Australians was shed on the sod, For Australia, for Britain, Humanity, God. Shall Australia mourn for the sons she has lost- Should Australians weep? Nay! Great though the cost, Joy mingles with grief, and pride mingles with pain, For our boys died like heroes, and died not in vain. And the ‘Soul of Australia’, new-born on that day When her sons died at ANZAC, shall never decay. J.H.M. Throwback to last month’s Rob Roy Revival. Sunday morning started a bit chilly, and although the hazy hills looked stylish, the sunny afternoon was definitely more enjoyable. . . . . . #motorsport #motorsportphotography #racecar #carphotography #hillclimb

Alright, it’s time to announce the winners of the Rob Roy Revival Photo Competition… We asked you to capture the true spirit of the Revival. The heritage, the excitement, the community, and the unique atmosphere, and share your moments with us. We received many incredible entries, but two images stood out for the way they captured the people, the details, and those behind-the-scenes moments that make this event so special. Our original deadline was midnight on the Sunday of the Revival. While we’ve selected a winner from entries submitted within that timeframe, we’ve also decided to award an additional prize for a standout image shared after the cut-off. Congratulations to our winners: @marisascaradventures shared a fantastic image via her stories. Set in the Clinton Tearooms (named after original property owner Bill Clinton, on whose land the hillclimb was built), the photo captures a relaxed moment — enjoying tea with homemade scones, cream and jam while watching fellow competitors tackle the hill via the livestream. A beautifully unique snapshot of the Revival experience. Great work, Marisa. Story continued in part 2

Rob Roy Photo Competition part 2 Our second winning pic goes to @laszlotalpasphoto.au whose image captures the energy and movement of the staging grid. A brilliant mix of drivers, cars, officials and spectators, the shot perfectly reflects the atmosphere, fashion and style of the day. Details like the Australian flag, Revival branding on the officials jacket, and even the event’s outright winner in frame elevate this already outstanding photo. We’ll be in touch with both winners to arrange delivery of your prizes. A big thank you to everyone who entered and continues to share photos from the event, we’ve loved seeing the Revival through your lens. The Rob Roy Revival Team

A week late and kitted out with inappropriate headwear… but the Easter Bunny still made it to Rob Roy. Spotted powering up the hill in what looks like Nathan Jackel's 1972 TQ Jawa 500 - clearly having overindulged in the chocolate stash - but still giving it a red-hot go. The extra “ballast” might have cost a few seconds, but nothing could wipe that rabbity grin off from behind the wheel. A very Happy Easter to all our followers from the Rob Roy Revival team.
