We had such a good time at RSM International 2026!
This past week RoboWrestling débuted internationally! Our mini sumo team performed better than we ever could’ve hoped with our bots Slippii placing 4th, and Slippi placing 8th out of 93 competitors. Congratulations @cody.33z and @kevincao__ for making such a meta defining bot. Additionally, Our 3kg robot Ferrari won a 3kg match internationally for the first time ever in our organization! Not only that, Ferrari went on to place 4th after going 1 and 1 with the top seed at the competition.
RoboJackets had such a great time interacting with all the teams at the competition. Everyone was so inviting and nice and truly made RSM a fantastic competition to compete at.

From May 28–31, 2025, our RoboNav team proudly represented Georgia Tech at the University Rover Challenge (URC) Finals, hosted by The Mars Society at the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) near Hanksville, Utah. URC is the world’s premier robotics competition for college students, challenging teams to design and build the next generation of Mars-style rovers and drones for remote operation—preparing them to assist astronauts in the field and contribute to future missions like Artemis and beyond.
After a year of hard work, RoboNav was selected as one of 38 finalist teams from a record-breaking 114 applicants across 15 countries, following a competitive System Acceptance Review. Sixteen of our team members traveled to the Utah desert to put our rover to the test in four demanding missions.
We are incredibly proud of the hard work, innovation, and teamwork that brought us to the URC finals. Thank you to all of our dedicated team members and to our generous sponsors who helped make this season possible.

Last month, our BattleBots team had the incredible opportunity to compete on the world stage at NHRL! Chonkiv, Anxietii, and Tsunamii represented us at worlds, fighting alongside 25 of the toughest 30 pound combat robots from around the world. After years of design, manufacturing, and fighting, Chonkiv placed 2nd at the 2024 World Championship! We are so proud of all 3 robots, and looking forward to seeing what they do next.
This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of our entire team. From design, late nights in the shop, and the occasional fire, everyone has poured their time, talent, and passion into making this happen. We would also love to thank all of our amazing sponsors, who believe in our vision, and are incredibly supportive. Finally, thank you to NHRL, for hosting such amazing events.
