I performed this scene at my acting class on Monday and when I finished one of the class members said “Rob you play mean so well and yet you’re so warm in real life” … I took this as a huge compliment as this is a character I could never have seen myself playing. When I first started acting as a kid I only performed to make people laugh. And those were the only characters I played. But now I have discovered playing the bad guy can be a lot of fun too and also a completely different way of expressing myself 😎🙌🏼 #actorslife🎬
When I’m not acting I also DJ and produce music. For the last 2 and a half years I have been learning music production pretty much every day. There is so much to learn and I have completely engrossed myself in the process. I absolutely love it and feel very proud of myself for putting in the hours and getting through the frustration that is unavoidable when learning a new skill.
I now have another obstacle. Finding people who enjoy my music and will eventually become fans. I really need all the help I can get as yet again I am attempting something that is extremely difficult and a long shot to succeed. But I have built up think skin through my acting so I’m ready for the music business. And I really believe that at some point I am going to be playing at the biggest festivals and clubs all over the world.
