I canāt believe it, but my site āØYou Should Like Type TooāØ turned 20 years old today! Itās been kinda dormant for the last few years, but thereās still a lot to see there and more to still come. Long live blogs! Long live type! Because you should like type too!
To celebrate my birthday here is a first look at a new sculpture Iām calling The Cake Apartments. Itās decorated with real cake sprinkles (but the rest is foamboard, paint, and a whole lot of clear varnish.
This piece is a take on a classic American weather vane, but more funky. Itās made of 8,435 ironing bead - swipe to the end to see it in progress š¤
