So happy Hamnet is getting a lot of love. As Prosthetic Designer, it was a truly heartwarming experience with an amazing crew and cast who poured their hearts and souls into the movie, which is wholly reflected on screen. A huge thank-you to the awesome MUP Designer Nicole Stafford @motherofrowie and her fantastic makeup crew for getting @millennium_fx_ltd involved and making us feel so welcome. Congratulations to you and your team for making the @bafta long list. Fingers crossed for the next round 🤞🏼. As always a massive thankyou to the entire brilliant team at @millennium_fx_ltd (you know who you are) and to @thea_studio_cfx for sculpting / application, @rebeccabmakeup , @sharna_rothwell and @morgankimber.fx for onset duties. From digital to sculpting, moulding, casting and painting…you did a beautiful job from start to finish x
Super quick and fun demo on the lovely @sharna_rothwell for the awesome @spacecentre . Had a great Saturday discussing monsters and aliens for their brilliant ‘Brit Sci-Fi’ event. @mfxwarehouse
Out now, The End We Start From. We had the pleasure of creating prosthetic pregnant bellies, birthing rigs and jelly babies galore. Huuuuge thankyou to all the workshop and shoot crew. It looks beautiful on the big screen. Also massive thanks to @louisecoleshair_makeup and @pc_williams and all the production team. Happy 60th Doctor Who!!
Millennium Fx has been fortunate enough to work on pretty much most of the series and spin off series since its return in 2005. Since then, the team at MFX and myself have been blessed with being able to work with some of the most talented and hard working crew from around the world, creating a whole host of new iconic creatures to add to the already rich history of the show. A massive thank-you to all the crew, technicians, artists, performers and MFX staff who have made it a truly joyful show to work on over the last 18 years x
Extremely excited to get to see these beasties on screen. A massive thanks and shout out to all the Millennium Fx crew who worked crazy hard to Design, Model, Sculpt, Print, Mould, Cast, Paint, Hair and Fabricate them into existence . Special shout out to the creature fx performers as well who literally bring inanimate pieces of foam and fur to life. Who wouldn’t be Who without you and the things you do :)
Very excited to see this! @millennium_fx_ltd got to play a small part in creating some subtle and not so subtle :) character make-ups among a few other prosthetic effects. Designer Bernard Floch kindly asked us to help out. Massive thanks to all the MFX crew and shoot crew involved . @primevideouk@millennium_fx_ltd
Sometimes I have the pleasure of photographing other peoples amazing applications and makeups like this ‘Glam-pire’ from @millennium_fx_ltd ‘s resident prosthetic and makeup wiz @rebeccabmakeup . Modelled and hair-styled by @sharon.trickett_hmua and assisted by @tashana_francis for @mfxwarehouse using our Bat Lady BT1 Set of prosthetic appliances. Shot on a Fuji XT3 using Godox AD200 lights and Lastolite Diffusers and Backdrop. #fuji #godox_photo_equipment #fuji_xseries #fuji_uk #lastolite #portraitphotography
