You only get so many chances in life to learn some iconic choreography directly from the choreographer.
This piece spoke to me the minute I saw it.
Some dances are just immediately burned into your memory after seeing it so being in this room with SO MANY other talented movers and learning it from @hamlytavarez filled my heart. 💖
I learned so much about turning your star quality on while watching everyone else perform.
To go for blood without someone asking you to.

been wanting to push myself creatively, and looking at these videos, one thing i can say is that I’m proud of is the variety.
one thing I’ve always admired about certain dancers is their ability to adapt to different styles of dance and genres of music
and in a age where branding your style is somewhat important
i’ve never wanted to limit myself to what i could create
my classes were intentionally labeled as “choreography” classes because I didn’t want to be limited
and it means more than words to those that step into that room with me and trust me to bring a fun challenge, regardless of style.
