How do you take long exposure shots without a tripod on the side of the road in morocco?
I saw this gas station on my way back from marrakech, about a 2 hour drive into the countryside. I didnt have a tripod or a proper lightmeter.
So I opened the door of my car and rested the camera on top of the door, right on the rubber seal on the edge. Then I leant against it with my upper body, held my breath and pressed the shutter for a couple of seconds.
I am really surprised how well it worked out, sure the shots arent perfect but thats also what I like about them, I'll allways remember the moment behind the picture.

I stopped at this moroccan village because I spotted something unexpected while driving by.
A Shop display full of old analog cameras! So I decided to explor the area a bit, visited the local market and took a few pics, like the one with the loaded car heading to the main road.
The Camerashop turned out to be the studio of a local photographer. The cameras where only for decoration and not for sale. I doubt any of them would have worked anyway, they were covered in dust and sand. But I do wonder how many of them still have some film inside from someones vacation.

Some of my favorite shots are from the harbour in Essaouira. Watching the fishermen unload their boats and work on their nets, unbothered by me and my camera like I'm not even there.
