As we think about the renewal that comes with the new year, we are very grateful for the opportunities we've had to share music with our community. Most recently, we think back to our event at @sauna_socialclub and wanted to share some memories from that restorative and healing space. This Saturday 15th November, we activate winter hibernation mode with a cosy and rejuvenating ambient session at @sauna_socialclub 🫧 Sauna sessions (70 mins) can be booked online (🔗 in bio) or you can DM us for a £5 listening only spot (limited availability). Ambient sounds to be led by: 🌟 @cosmic.caz Cosmic Caz (they/them) is British-Filipino, queer, London-based artist DJ, music producer, curator, and model. Rooted in community and nightlife, their work flows from dancefloors, sound design, and curating community events. Through each set and production, they channel sonic portals of catharsis, connection, and transcendence. 🌟@sea_elegans Sea Elegans is a dub technoclassical organism. They live in a wide range of musical environments, especially in transitionary points between genre-biomes. At the moment, elegans is very at home in sound-ecosystems of dubbed-out acoustic-electronica, and has been enjoying extracting structure and harmony from smooth noise. 🌟@jezebelle____ & @robintimmis , featuring flute from @izzy.org.uk Izzy Walter is a multi-instrumentalist and radio producer with a classical background in flute who has since branched out into folk, jazz and electronic music. For Iz, their practise as a vocalist and flautist are symbiotic, since the flute’s relationship to breath support, and the elasticity of articulation allowed by the open embouchure give the instrument a unique parallel to all forms of speech. Iz uses computer processing and improvisation to depart from conventions and blend her playing with electronic production. Collective Hysteria co-founders Jezebelle & Lovelace will underscore the flute performance with their first ever ambient b2b, channelling ethereal soundscapes to provide a soft landing place for the FLINTA* community to recharge and connect. ✨ Collective Hysteria is a FLINTA* focused platform - our ambient sauna session is a space to allow FLINTA* and queer individuals to relax, connect and be comfortable in the sauna environment. Please respect this and read the venue's FAQ and etiquette guidelines before attending so that we can maintain the inclusive and welcoming atmosphere of the venue. 💗🩵🤍

Now for something a little different to our club-based events... OXFORD DAY RAVE JUNE 22 Super excited to present the Oxford Day Rave at the stunning @ovada_gallery , a high-ceiling artist-led warehouse space on Sunday June 22. Starting at 11am, DJs and artists will transform the space for eight non-stop hours of electronic music spanning minimal to dub and psytrance, along with installations and projections.
