Every Friday in May, we’re sharing Miracle May stories that highlight the strength of local children and the care that helps carry them through life’s hardest moments.
This week, meet Smruti! What began as a routine checkup quickly turned into something much more serious, leading to a diagnosis that changed everything for Smruti and her family. She spent months receiving treatment and care at Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, supported every step of the way by a team who showed up with both expertise and heart.
Today, Smruti is continuing her journey with incredible strength and looking ahead to the day she can celebrate the end of her treatment. She loves playing with her brother, reading, and dreams of one day helping others as both a lawyer and a doctor.

Being Community Proud isn’t just a saying, it’s who we are. A small charge you don’t recognize might not be as harmless as it seems. Scammers often start with tiny purchases to test whether a card is active before attempting larger fraudulent charges. That’s why regularly reviewing your transactions is one of the best ways to catch fraud early.
At Robins Financial, your security is our priority. Check out our credit card security tips blog linked in our bio to help protect your accounts and personal information.
Our Financial Literacy team spent some time at Northside High School in Houston County bringing money skills to life for students who are getting ready to take on their next big steps! We covered things like building a budget, how saving grows over time, and what credit really means when it starts showing up in your future plans. We love getting into classrooms and connecting with students who are already thinking ahead and it’s part of what we believe in as Financial Partners, showing up for our communities and helping build confidence around money and the choices that come with it.
Every Friday in May, we’ll be sharing Miracle May stories that highlight the strength of local children and the care that supports them through life’s unexpected moments. Each story is a chance to learn, connect, and make a difference for families in our community.
First up, meet Owen. What started as a routine follow-up quickly turned into a hospital stay, where Owen received care at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital for jaundice as a newborn. Thanks to quick treatment and a compassionate care team, he was able to head home and keep growing.
Today, Owen is thriving and even competes in local barbeque competitions with his own rub and sauce line.

May is Military Appreciation Month, and we’re celebrating the service members, veterans, and military families who show up every day with so much heart in everything they do. Since our start in 1954 on Robins Air Force Base, we’ve been connected to the military community and proud to grow alongside the people who serve, support, and sacrifice for our country. From then to now, it’s an honor to stand with you this month and always. ❤️
It's Miracle May! We’re honored to receive a $4,000 grant through Allied for Good in support of our Miracle May campaign and @cu4kids , benefiting local children’s hospitals.
