Chickweed - Stellaria media
I love chickweed for skin—especially for hot, dry, itchy skin—as chickweed epitomizes cool, moist juiciness. Chickweed is helpful inter- nally and externally for bacterial and viral infections manifesting through the skin, such as chicken pox or measles, and for dissolving hard or fluid- filled cystic lumps that are pulling the skin taut as they grow. Chickweed is also great for drawing foreign objects such as splinters or glass shards out of the body.
Chickweed is THE herb I turn to for the common, contagious, uncomfortable condition known as pink eye. It soothes and heals it quickly.
Herbal Tip: NEVER re-use a poultice that you put atop an infected area or an open wound!
There’s a kind of magic that only happens when we gather in the same room. If you have been craving connection, this is your invitation. 💓
Here’s where you can gather with Robin Rose Bennett next!
Join me for an intimate evening of slowing down, setting intentions, and reconnecting with magic under the dark, fertile sky of the New Moon at the brand new Weyward Market in Pompton Lakes, NJ. 🌑 A talk weaving herbal wisdom with lunar magic 🌑 A hands-on herbal experience, where you’ll taste, touch, and smell Motherwort, Mugwort/Cronewort, Ladys Mantle, and more
🌑 Meditation, ritual, and sharing circle to deepen connection with yourself, the plants, and community
We’ll close the evening with a cozy book signing, enjoy light snacks, and have your books personally signed by me.
Come as you are… curious, open, and ready to be held in a circle of earth-based wisdom, ritual, and community.

Step into a quieter rhythm with dreams🌿
As part of the programming of the current exhibition 𝐀 𝐖𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦, 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 invites you to reconnect with the natural intelligence of plants through a guided, hands-on session rooted in tradition, intuition, and care. “Herbal Recipes for Meditation, Dreams, and Intuition” is a hands-on workshop designed to inspire participants to tune into your inner knowing with the help of herbs. Plants such as Mugwort enhance dream recall, Lavender helps you relax for meditation, and Ginkgo Biloba guides you to remember your ancient wisdom.
Led by herbalist Robin Rose Bennett (@robinrosebennett ), the experience weaves together knowledge, sensory exploration, and gentle reflection—offering a space to slow down and tune in.

No better time for ritual than the present.
Ritual, especially community ritual, is part of just about everyone’s life. It is essential for empowering community actions and healing. Ritual, at best, is “participatory theater of the real” and empowers the participants as it deepens our relationships with nature, the elements, and one another.
It’s that magical time of year... Merry May! An invitation to Beltane Bliss! 🌸🧚🏼
Among the most beloved traditions of Beltane is the raising and dancing of the maypole... a practice rich with symbolism, sensuality, and joy.
What’s in my Herbal Travel Kit ✈️🧳🌿🫙
I forget to say that Elder blossom tincture was in my kit.
Elder flowers are near to miraculous at preventing ear pain during a flight’s take-off and landing, or at relieving it if it has already happened.
