A bit more than 500 kilometers. 26.000 meters of elevation. 26 days in the Himalayas around the Annapurna Region. Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Mardi Himal and some hikes in between. Hot springs. Thin air. Breathtaking air. And views. Animals. Rain. Snow. Thunder. Friends. Memories.
People here live spirituality. And the spirituality grounds them. They're just happy.
We are born alone and we die alone. But on the path of life we have companions who accompany us for a short while.
Thank you ❤️
I wrote about all of it. Link in bio.
P. S. at the end, I couldn't resist doing a bungee jump. Slide right to see the video 😜

Short, intense side quest to ABC — Annapurna Base Camp.
Mountains, good company, yoga, cramps in my calves.
After almost 3.5 weeks of trekking through the Himalayas, I’d be lying if my legs didn’t feel the elevation gain.
Still, I’m deeply grateful for every moment, every view, every person.
P. S. On the first Pic you see Robin, 1,76 meters and Annapurna, 8091 metres

5.416 meters. Thorong La Pass. 🇳🇵
Enjoying the view... thin air hits different when you're upside down
P.S. Sunglasses are mandatory.
P. P. S. I love the mountains.

In Nepal, Kathmandu.
❤️
Thank you, Dad, for giving me life. For passing on your longings, your wishes, your way of being.
You died ten years ago today. In Nepal, Kathmandu. And here I am, exactly ten years later.
We didn't have much time together. But I am deeply proud. Proud of who I've become. Of the invisible initiations you passed on without knowing it. My third given name is Chimed, here in Nepal it means immortal.
I watch the prayer flags move in the wind, whispering their ancient words into the world and I can feel the peace you were always looking for. The peace you came to Nepal searching for.
Thank you for the freedom you gave me. Thank you for the depth. Thank you for being a seeker.
I hope you found what you were looking for. I hope you are at peace. I hope you are free.
Thank you for existing. And therefore for me.
Currently at 4.300 meters.
The Annapurna Circuit is treating me incredibly well. Mountains, encounters, people, animals.
Thank you Nepal, where people are mostly at peace, rooted in their spirituality, somewhere between tradition and modernity, surrounded by the most amazing landscapes on earth.
Started at 30 degree with palms and tropical plants and now theres only ice, snow and thin air left. Well. I love it
I started writing about it. Full piece on Substack, link in bio. 🏔️🙏🏼
