Look mom I’m in a band! A few moons ago, Kat aka @itsverakay and I were introduced to each other at an Indian restaurant in Culver City, CA. As far as I rememember we did not talk much that evening, but we exchanged contacts and met for a coffee on March 6th 2025. A coffee turned into a writing session, a writing session into a vision, and a vision turned into 5 songs that both of us are outrageously in love with. One year to the day after said coffee, we just released the LIMERENCE EP. At the end of a long and winding desert road, here’s a beginning: The Yucca Valley Sessions are now yours. My love for the California desert is of the everlasting kind, and at some point 2 years ago I packed a car full of gear and drove to my beloved Yucca Valley to write a few pieces of music. I did not set out to make an album, but somewhere between the blessings of the rising and the setting sun, the universe decided to give me 11 songs that are now a musical testament to the fact that creative freedom and the right surroundings at the right time can be much more powerful than any plan one could possibly make. I wrote, recorded, produced and mixed this record, and I am proud of what it turned out to be. Follow @iamlittleashes if you’d like to know more about how things unfold from here. Team @michael.patrick.kelly.official , we did it! The competition was fierce, but our album Traces came in and took the #1 spot on the German Charts today. You are such an essential part in allowing Paddy and his collaborators to keep doing what we love! This man has been giving his all on stage and nurturing his community for many many years, and I want to believe that taking your artistry seriously, recognizing the power of the people and practicing empathy and kindness still matter, and that these things particularly matter in this day and age. Long story (not so) short, I am grateful and proud to have contributed my share of music and lyrics on this record. Congrats Paddy my friend, this is beyond well deserved!

Today is the day, TRACES is now shared with the world. @michael.patrick.kelly.official , you are one of the finest humans I know and certainly one of the most exceptionally talented and hardest working artists in the game. @daniel_flamm @alizuckowski @josidergraue I could not have wished for better companions and collaborators in this creative endeavor. The 5 of us made 5 songs on this record, and quite a ride it has been. In the process I spent countless hours on planes and trains, in airports and train stations, in hotel rooms and - last but most - in the studio with these musical minds that just keep coming up with new creative visions to pursue. I have found my love for the city of Munich, I have become a father, and right now it feels like the world has been changing more drastically and dramatically than ever before in countless ways. All in all it’s been a very moving 2.5 years, and I am so glad we got to pour some of those notions and emotions into Paddy’s album. We did it again boys! 💫

* 11•03•2024 * Romy Alva Venice Grubert In the midst of these strange times we are all living in, @larissamorgenstundenfee and I are finding ourselves absolutely overjoyed by the arrival of our beautiful daughter. Romy was born on Sunday night at 3:19am PST and in the first 4 days of her earthly existence, she has already put smiles on countless human faces and has caused an outpouring of loving kindness from our family and friends that has been moving me in the most profound ways. A huge thank you to the amazing staff at St. John’s for giving both Larissa and me an incredible birth experience, and thank you Universe, for blessing us with this wonderful child that I love and care for so much that it hurts. I made a promise to myself that I will nurture, guide and protect our little baby girl whatever it takes, that I will make sure she grows up to live the life that she wants to live, with an unconditionally loving family as her base so she can explore and pursue her dreams fearlessly and get the most out of this wonderous thing called life. Welcome home little Romy, Papi loves you more than words could ever say. ❤️
