Last winter, I had the privilege of shooting a music video with the talented @kawzwald for the incredible @john_borra and his song HERE IN MY HEART.
There’s always something special about translating music into images. We played with warm and cool tones to reflect the contrast between flashbacks and the present, and thanks to the magical edit by @just.ingraldi , the story and visual found its rhythm.
We were also lucky to explore several great locations (thanks to @kawzwald & @john_borra ‘s hard-work), including @the.cameronhouse , which added so much texture and atmosphere to the video.

New DOP + Color Work for our short film PARCHED w/ @48hfptoronto 🎥
While we usually aim to “think outside the box,” for 48 Hour Film Project, I had to “think inside the box”—making the most of our location, gear, and minimal prep time to craft a vision that works for the story.
Really appreciate our director @lisa.kockeritz for being so open-minded and communicative, fostering a chill and welcoming vibe for both the team and the set. And a huge shoutout to our incredible cast and crew for coming together and making this such a fun and rewarding weekend!
