I’ve been a bit on and off here the past year. Posting, disappearing, figuring things out behind the scenes. Lately I’ve been trying to show up differently. Less just “cool travel shots.” More honesty. More lessons. More of the real journey behind building this life. Here’s a bit more about who I am and what I stand for. Moving forward, my goal is simple: share what I’m learning while building a life around travel, creativity and freedom. And hopefully helping you on your journey âœŒđŸŒ

Let’s Go - The Philippines Since the day I started film making, my dream has always been to work for BD @beautifuldestinations @koldercreative recently announced the new contest « Your One Video » in collaboration with @blackmagicdesign The idea is that : you’re only one video away from working with your dream client. I totally believe this is true! These contests have always been great opportunities to improve my skills as a creator! And to be able to add this content to the portfolio is ideal to attract potential clients in the niche I want to work in! Here’s a short cinematic video I created from my latest trip to the Philippines. (Youtube video coming soon đŸ€˜đŸŒ) Shot by : @gaellesavina @tom_webster5 @juliakursten @notanng @alexislefrene @ferrufilms @robinchills @tom.pacelli #blackmagickc Live Your Dreams.

Looking back, most of the turning points in my career happened on creator trips. When everyone around you is shooting, learning from each other and sharing ideas, there is no other option for you but to level up. That energy is hard to explain unless you’ve lived it.
DM me « TRAVEL » if you would be interested to join a creator trip like this one!

How can I start working with @beautifuldestinations ? Is the question I get the most from other creators. So I thought today I’d share with you how I did it and I hope that this can help you too! From the outside it probably looks like a lucky break. But the truth is
it was years of quietly working, learning, failing and doing things differently from everyone around me. I created step by step roadmap with a clear goal. I closely studied the creators I admired. I invested in myself when I had almost no money. I poured months of grinding when nobody was watching. Most importantly: I created my own opportunities to meet the right people along the way. Opportunities rarely appear out of nowhere. They usually come through people who see your work, your effort, and trust you when the moment comes. This carousel is the honest version of how it actually happened. Long story short : go all in on what you love and do it with your whole heart. If you want a different life, you can’t keep doing what everyone else is doing. It’s the moment you leave your comfortable bubble that your world starts to change.

In 2016 I had just finished high school and I was lost. No real direction. No big plan. Just pressure to “figure it out.” I’m very lucky to have parents who are absolute legends. They pushed me to travel far before starting university. My gap year to Australia changed everything. I saw other ways of living. Other cultures. Other versions of life. New languages. My world got bigger. And so did my perspective. That’s what I love about solo travel. It forces you to learn about yourself. I still went to business school. For my parents. But if I’m honest, all I was really doing was watching travel YouTubers and dreaming about that life. It wouldn’t leave my mind. So I made a deal with my parents. I finish the degree. Then I can do what I want. And I did. Today I’m mentoring upcomming creators at @beautifuldestinations , the company I once looked up to from my room in a small village in Belgium. Here’s what I learned: If you dare to leave your hometown, your perspective expands. And when your perspective expands, you start seeing who you really are. What you’re made for will find you. And when you find that thing, you become unstoppable. But only YOU can that first step.

“I’ll travel later.” “I’ll have more time after my studies” “When I have more money.” “When a friend wants to join me.” I hear it all the time. But I honestly don’t get why we’re told to play it safe in our 20s
when that’s the one phase of life built for risk. Less responsibility. More freedom. More room to try, fail, move. Travel isn’t just about seeing the world. It’s about expanding your perspective and learning about life. Later comes faster than you think. Travel now. Your money will come back. Your time won’t.

There’s a part of the journey nobody talks about. The part where people think you’re crazy. Where nobody around you really understands what you’re doing. Where you’re alone at home working on something only you can see. Even your parents might not get it. Your friends move on with normal life. And you’re just there
believing in something that doesn’t exist yet. That phase is hard. You’ll feel different. You’ll feel alone. You’ll question yourself. But that’s the phase that matters most. When it gets hard, don’t quit. Trust your vision. Keep going. The ones who stay in the game long enough for the right reasons, are the ones who end up making it. Don’t give up when it gets hard.

If you want your life to stay the same, stay where you are. Same room. Same mindset. Same results. But if you want to grow, leave your bubble. Expose yourself to different cultures. Different people. Higher standards. That’s where everything shifted for me. Life outside the bubble >

I used to think something was wrong with me. Why am I not satisfied with the normal path? Why do I want more when everyone else seems fine? It took me years to realize that feeling wasn’t a problem. It was a signal. Not fitting in doesn’t mean you’re broken. It usually means your environment isn’t right for your ambition. And it won’t get quieter. It only gets louder. The moment you put yourself out there and actually go all in on your dreams, you realize you were never crazy. Life is way too short not to go after your wildest dreams. I promise you, your people and the life you dream of are out there and anything is possible if you set your mind to it đŸ‘ŠđŸŒ Inspo : @joshguvi

Swimming with whales changed something in me. End of last year I went to Mauritius with some of my best friends. We had a list of things we wanted to do
but we ended swimming whit whales almost everyday. 🐋😅 The first time I slid into the water and saw a whale moving underneath us, everything went quiet. Just this massive, peaceful presence. It honestly felt like Avatar in real life. You realize how insane this planet is. How small you are. How much beauty exists outside of your little daily problems. If you ever get the chance, do it. These are the experiences that stay with you forever.
