The recording of my @openground.club set for @kiosk.radio 's club tour back in December is now up on Soundcloud via @untitled909 .
Loved shaping this opening set: rolling, minimal & a bit squelchy in some places
Also did a small interview about the mix, thanks @basicchanel.mp3 for having me 🫡
Head over to Untitled 909's substack for the interview and mix. Tracklist on the last slideee
Jungle at full speed, SHERELLE doesn’t slow down for anyone.
160BPM and above, rooted in the lineage of UK rave and the urgency of footwork. She’s been reshaping what a dancefloor can feel like.
With Nookie on the same night, the lineage is right there in the room. Thirty years of jungle in one lineup.
Alongside them: Madcap, MC PM and Erykah b2b Vers.
Tonight at Traum, tickets available.

“this is a live recording from my debut at open ground in wuppertal. i opened a kiosk radio club tour night there, before al wootton, tash lc and emily jeanne (in that order). i had visited the club a few times already, but nothing prepares you for actually playing on a soundsystem that crisp. it kind of ruins other clubs for you :p
i really tried to set an opening mood, staying quite low in bpm, the set rolls for two hours through deep, dubby, minimal, and sometimes bass heavy territory. hope people like it!”

High-speed, high-precision, no compromise. Sherelle arrives at TRAUM to show exactly why she’s become the definitive voice of the modern underground.
Since her 2019 Boiler Room set went viral, she has been the engine behind the 160 BPM revival — fusing Jungle, Footwork, and Juke with a technical intensity that has shifted the global dancefloor.
Joining her is a true foundation-layer of the UK sound: Nookie (Gavin Cheung). From the 80s breakdance circles of Hitchin to the front lines of the Acid House explosion, Nookie helped build the DNA of Drum ‘n’ Bass. His return to the circuit brings decades of hardware-driven soul and breakbeat mastery to Antwerp. The pace is set by Madcap and Vers B2B Erykah.

Heading to Wuppertal next weeek. Opening the Kiosk x Meakusma night on December 6th, so excited to jump in early before a crazyy solid line-up.
Never really expected to play in such a special club as Open Ground, after getting blown away by that soundsystem each time I made the trip… kinda surreal to be on the other side now. Can’t wait to test out the Freifeld booth. d[-_-]b
Big thanks to @kioskradio for making this happen. Who’s making the trip? 🚌
Belgium’s Kiosk Radio & Meakusma Festival head east on December 6th, connecting their extended family at Open Ground. Including shuttle service from Brussels/Eupen to Wuppertal and back!
