Today’s shot was unbelievably precarious but turned out so beautiful with the help of @superhella.omg@leilashmeila@crystalazua@ccamarena . I can’t wait to see this printed out and in its frame. I’m having an art show on Aug 19th at @thegallery_916 with a few other fabulous photographers, put it in your calendar and come dance.
This is the second photo in the Alice series titled “In Transition”. Here we see Alice has chosen to look within, so down into the rabbit hole she goes. This image was a lot of fun trying to figure out how to configure it all into one photo.
This is not a composited photo, this is one photo, captured on a @fujifilmx_us GFX 50sii w/a 11mm TTArtisan fisheye lens, lit with @nanlite_global tubes, & @profoto B10’s. And may have been the most ridiculous c-stand set up I have ever done. The orange around the left hand side and bottom right was accomplished by taping plastic to the side of the lens, putting a fan on the plastic for movement & lighting it with a Nanlite. The depth of the hole was created with a lot of atmosphere spray, a smoke ninja from @pmi_gear , Nanlites, and a black drop cloth.

On Saturday @artchickjaya@tiranjini and I opened up our art studios and it was a blast! I set up a little photo booth to take some chaotic portraits and I love how they came out. So grateful to everyone that showed up, thank you for taking the time. Big thank you to @crystalazua for holding it down and talking to/helping people out while I was taking photos. 🩵
Built a set today to take portraits at my Open Studio this Saturday! Here are a couple of test shots I took of @artchickjaya today to get it ready. I enjoy the layers and chaos.
