You’ll love this stir fry recipe because it’s:
☑️ Quick and easy to make
☑️ Packed with protein + antioxidants
☑️ Low in sodium but high in flavor!
What you need:
Sliced or cubed chicken breast
Avocado oil (best when cooking on high heat)
Favorite veggies (I use red & yellow pepper, green beans, zucchini, shallots, & mushrooms)
Coconut aminos
Brown rice
Salt & Pepper to taste
The more colorful your veggies, the more supportive vitamins + minerals you’ll get. And fun fact: red peppers have more vitamin C than even oranges, so this meal’s an extra immune booster!
Plus, if you haven’t discovered coconut aminos yet…OMGGGG you’re in for a treat. It’s way lower in sodium than soy sauce and the 🥥 flavor is divine. You can even marinate the chicken in some before you cook it!
Meatless? No problem, just replace chicken breast with tofu.

Headaches have many causes: weather, muscle tension, injury, hormonal shifts, food triggers, sinus issues, etc.
Mudras and meditation alone won’t solve the problem, but combined with other remedies they provide great relief!
Try this:
💦Dip a washcloth in water and some vinegar, lie down, and wrap the cloth around your feet.
💆🏻♀️Massage up and down your neck and on both temples with pressure from your index + middle fingers.
🧘🏽Then form Mahasirs Mudra in each hand and breathe slowly for 5-10 minutes.
All of this results in energy dropping from the head downward and has a tension-relieving effect!

Here are some fun facts you might not know about me:
🏡 I’m a recovering city gal (NYC > SF) living in Napa with my beau…no kids or pets, just plants.
🧘🏻♀️Favorite yoga poses = 1) Eka Pada Koundinyasana B, cuz I love balancing on my hands and 2) Sleeping Pigeon allllll night long, especially with a bolster and some pillows.
😋 Favorite foods = avocados + dark chocolate. Can’t live without either…still need to try a brownie recipe with both.
🏖️My happy place = any beach where I can swim in calm, warm water.
🎭 My former career = dancing & singing on Broadway in shows like Wicked, Evita, Mamma Mia, & Cats (swipe for a fun pic!)
👩🏻🦱 I used to think my hair was just wavy and begged my mom for a perm at 12yo. The stylist laughed, cut a bunch of layers and scrunched my hair with (lots of) gel. The rest is curly-hair history.

Cramps during your period are the WORST!! I struggled for decades before discovering holistic remedies to ease my suffering.
There’s a lot you can do with the right foods and supplements (more on that later)…but in the meantime try these 3 yoga asanas when you need immediate relief:
1️⃣ Restorative Child’s pose (balasana) gently opens your hips + relaxes your front body muscles while passively stretching your back body muscles. Bonus: it’s super calming for your mind 😌 Lie on a bolster + blanket combo (or some big pillows) that’s lifted on the far end by a block.
2️⃣ Cow > Cat offers gentle extension + flexion of your spine. Come up onto your fingertips in flexion (cat pose) to offer more space to stretch and lengthen your back body. Great for bringing movement and flexibility to those tense, spasming muscles around your abdomen!
3️⃣ Reclined Hero’s Pose (supta virasana) is what I deem the queen of cramp relief. It settles the muscles around your lumbar spine (lower back), stretches your abdominal muscles + psoas (the largest hip flexor) to relieve pelvic discomfort, AND it’s a natural heart opener which means it feels oh-so-good 💜
Start on your shins with a blanket under your knees and a block between your feet. Lie back onto a bolster + a folded blanket or some pillows for less intense back-bending and more soothing relief.
