Where do I start to type this…
To be aghast is more than simply being surprised, it’s a visceral, almost paralyzing reaction. The word carries both shock and awe, often laced with disbelief or wonder.
And lately… aghast feels right. For so many reasons.
This house is one of them.
It’s not every day you can say your brothers have their own haunted house at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights and yet, here we are.
The other day, I had the rare, surreal honor of taking a behind-the-scenes tour of the Wyatt Six House at HHN Orlando.
Walking through those darkened halls alongside the brilliant creative minds who made this come to life,
@Michael_Aiello ,
@RamonParadoa , as well as seeing the contributions from the incomparable
@robfee11 , I was struck by the sheer devotion that went into every square inch. They walked me through the story, the meaning, the why behind every choice… and it was clear this wasn’t just a haunted house.
This was art.
Like brushstrokes to a masterpiece, the details made it something alive, a living, breathing tribute to my brother Windham and the incredible, haunting world he built. The way they captured his creative madness, his genius, his soul; it was breathtaking. It paid respect, homage, and love to who he was: not just a performer, but a visionary.
And the care they gave to the horror, the mystique, and the legacy of Taylor as Uncle Howdy and the entire Wyatt Six? Unreal. Standing there in my boots and Candy Corn dress, in spirit of Spooky Season, I was moved ..teary-eyed, proud, and, yes… pleasantly aghast.
To everyone who brought this to life..the artists, the storytellers, the designers, the dreamers, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You didn’t just build a haunted house. You built a monument to imagination, family, and a manifesto for Windham’s dreams.
LET. ME. IN. 🕯️😮💨😭
