The first time I picked up a discus I had no idea it could ever have so much impact on me. I certainly had goals and expectations, but God took this thing and took it to a whole nother level and Iām undeservingly grateful. I owe my life to this sport because this sport gave me a life, no exaggeration! It takes a whole village of people to get to this point. To everyone who has been apart of my journey whether your role was big or small, Iām so thankful and youāll never know how much you mean to me. To all the genuine people Iāve been able to meet from different walks of life, to my coaches, teammates, friends, and competitors. I hope I had the same impact on you, as you did for me. Thank you for allowing me to live my absolute dream. š«¶š½
I may not be what everyone wants me to be, but Iām exactly who Iāve always been. Im still that same young kid from Jeff City, with a big dream, and decent technique. I know I didnāt let that kid down. ā¤ļø
āAnd when itās all over, all that counts is how the story is told, so write my name down, write my aim down. To do this my way, and carve my own lane out.ā
Thank you, @texastechtf . Iām a Red Raider for life. Weāll see what happens nextā¦šµšš¾#WreckEm #RR4L

24 years old today. Feeling deeply thankful for the people whoāve walked with me, the souls who stayed, the places that changed me, and the experiences that brought both joy and growth. Grateful for every twist, turn and memory that has brought me here. I donāt take any of it for granted. Hereās to all thatās been and all thatās still to come.š„
Blessed isnāt even the word! So thankful my High School wanted to honor me in this way. It feels amazing knowing anyone that enters this stadium from now on is going to see my name, and may be curious enough to look me up and check out my story. Coming up in this system as a kid, there was so much pride in being a Jaybird and athlete at Jeff City. So many greats came before me and I hope to have the same impact on the next generation coming up, just like the ones who came before me did for myself. Iāve had ups and downs in my career and was able to some cool things, but one thing that remained certain was Jeff City was always there to cheer me on. Thereās no jersey numbers to retire in Track and Field, but this is the closest thing to it. Means the world to me and Iām truly humbled!ā¤ļøš¤ #immortalized #THEBIGGEST #jayprideneverdies #Legendary #whosnext #WreckEm
