Join us for the Robert Royston Intensive: The Template for Musicality — a special add-on intensive at MY Swing 2026.
To maintain role balance, this intensive is limited to 35 couples only.

About the intensive:
Robert Royston Intensive: The Template for Musicality
The workshop breaks down musicality into a usable framework that dancers can actually apply. Instead of guessing when to accent, pause, stretch, or play, you will explore the underlying structure that helps musical choices make sense.
The content is designed to help dancers recognize patterns in the music, understand how movement fits within those patterns, and create dancing that feels more textured, more dynamic, and more alive.
This is not just about hearing the music. It is about learning how to organize your movement around it. Whether you struggle to know when to interpret, how to make your dancing match the music, or why some musical choices work better than others, this intensive will give you tools to build greater clarity and confidence.
If you want your dancing to feel less random and more intentional, less reactive and more informed, The Template for Musicality offers a way to strengthen the foundation behind your musical expression.
Once the 35 couple spots are filled, registration will close.
