As your celebrant, it’s my job to lay down the law 🚨 If you don’t want guests taking photos or videos during your ceremony, I’ll make sure phones stay out of sight. Alternatively, if you’re happy for guests to take photos but would prefer they don’t post until you’ve shared yours first, I’ll make that clear to everyone. The worst thing you can do is say nothing because everyone will interpret it differently, and that’s how photos end up online before you’ve even had a chance to post them yourself. I knew that becoming a celebrant would mean witnessing beautiful moments between lovebirds and their families, but I never expected how deeply it would connect me with my own family. This is my sister Georgie and her husband Matt. I had the absolute privilege of helping them begin their journey together. Being surrounded by our family and friends on such a special day was incredibly meaningful.
