@lazybonesloungemarrickville - and the incredible Tim who does the sound week in, week out, and it sounds SO good - and acknowledge what an incredible service they have been doing for Sydney musicians and Sydney culture for so many years. As
@professor_groove we are relative latecomers to the venue which started years ago but have been weekend regulars for the last couple of years and it has been amazing to work with them. They are generous and supportive, manically musician friendly and have provided a hub for Sydney musicians to perform and create for years. This is SO hard to do and thanks also to
@musicnsw (I think?) who have recently helped them upgrade their stage and audio system to a world class level. Seven nights a week on 2 levels they are open and have live music til late at night, it's an incredible thing and I would encourage all musicians to give them some love and respect this Xmas. And yes there's a little plug - we are performing there this Saturday 13th with our "Funk Fest" night, feat. Prof Groove and all sorts of incredible players, and we'd love to see you there! But seriously, thanks to Craig and Alex and Tim and everyone there
