Robert Lydecker is an Emmy award-winning composer for film and television based in Los Angeles. He has composed original scores for projects such as DreamWork’s Orion and the Dark, the Emmy-winning score for Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Iron Fist season two and Lethal Weapon seasons two and three.

I’m finally releasing “Flickering Flora of the Ear's Brain (aka Studies in Naïveté)” today on bandcamp and youtube. Many thanks to LA's native fauna and flora who have undeniably influenced this music. And many thanks to my family and friends for their support. I infrequently get to write music for myself and even less frequently release that music to the public. Hopefully I can change that. "Studies in Naïveté" is written in a style I first explored in "It Can't Not Be Dance Music" and have been wanting to revisit. The music's tonal and fun and emotional, but grabs at rhythms that are free and sometimes misaligned. This took a while to produce and get out there, but this music was written really quickly. These are basically snapshots of my life or of a few early mornings when I could get some time to myself. Peace and love, cabrones.
