TAKE OVER ❤️‍🔥 Roberta Faust @robertazoefaust Roberta Faust creates, through her photographs and installations, a fictional ecosystem of extinct plants – species that vanished as a result of human activity. Her process begins with research in collaboration with botanical institutes, tracing the dead, pressed and archived remains of these plants in herbarium collections and uncovering the stories behind their disappearance. Scanned, enlarged, printed in black and white, cut, assembled and shaped, these fragments evolve into new three-dimensional vegetal beings, forming both a photographic series and a spatial installation.

𝑬𝒔 𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝒆𝒊𝒏 𝑷𝒇𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒛𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔 𝑽𝒆𝒓𝒃! 🌱2.🌱6.🌱2🌱0🌱2🌱5🌱 Den Hints von Robin Wall Kimmerer folgend laden wir euch herzlich zur nächsten Ausgabe von Auf Montage am 02.06.2025 ab 20:00 ein! Die Gruppenausstellung zeigt vier künstlerische Positionen zu unterschiedlichen Anwesenheiten, Artikulationen und Verkörperungen pflanzlichen Lebens. 🌿Gescannt, auf Papier gedruckt, beschnitten, geklebt und befeuchtet entlässt @robertazoefaust Exemplare pflanzlicher Zombies in die Nischen und Winkel des Nachtclubs. Die Skulpturen ausgestorbener Pflanzen entstanden in Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen botanischen Instituten. 🌿Die Sound Performance (21:00) von @pablotorresgomez_ basiert auf seiner recherche-basierten Auseinandersetzung mit Heterogenität, Fluidität und Interdependenz im Kontext von geohistorischen Prozessen. Durch klangliche Gesten folgt Pablo der “Agency” von Wasser, die die unterschiedlichsten Lebensformen fortbestehen und zugleich auseinanderdriften lässt. 🌿Die Überschneidung von Figurativem und Abstraktem in @_kajameyer_ s Arbeiten eröffnet die Möglichkeit eines weiteren assoziativen Verständnisses. In ihren zeichnerischen und malerischen Arbeiten auf Papier finden sich vielfältige Formen von (An)Wesenheiten. 🌿Aus Perspektive eines Käfers oder mit der Wange an die Erde gedrückt, erkunden Caspar Wülfings @_caspar___ Zeichnungen und gesprühte Malereien flüchtige Momente der vegetativen Verschachtelung, Überlagerung und Verdichtung.

@milanoarchweek From May 20 to 26 we transform the metro stations of Milan into theatre stages, divided by the passing trains that open and close the scenes like a curtain. The people listening to it become the performers, with and for each other.
