SOUND ON!!! A new video from KEPLER'S CHOICE. #nosidesrecords #eclarkcornell #neoclassical #cosmicambient #satellite Neo-classical symphonic atmospheres from BAND OF SUSANS’ guitar experimentalist Robert Poss and Edward Cornell, an internationally recognized multi-media artist obsessed with the semiotics of sound. Informed by the creative and experimental output of New York City arts between the 1960s and early 1980s, while using up-to-date aspects of digital studio expansion, ‘Kepler’s Choice’ contains over 70 minutes of majestic musical mastery! This is their second collaboration album, following the 2024 EP ‘Definitive Spaces.’ In 1986, Robert Poss formed the legendary wall-of-guitars group BAND OF SUSANS, which Rolling Stone Magazine described as "adamantly arty, brainy, visceral and bracing." He has performed and recorded with Rhys Chatham, Phill Niblock, Nicolas Collins, Ben Neill, F.M. Einheit (EINSTURZENDE NEUBAUTEN) and Bruce Gilbert (WIRE), as well as choreographers Sally Gross, Gerald Casel and Alexandra Beller. Ed Cornell is a writer, composer and visual artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has collaborated with German electronic artists like Hans-Joachim Roedelius of CLUSTER, and co-created the international project LA PONTO ENSEMBLO with Hans-Dieter Schmidt of BRIDGE TO IMLA. Between releases under his own name and his solo project latome2, Cornell has hundreds of full-length albums and digital singles under his belt.
