Sometimes I forget how damn LOOOOONNNNGGGGG I’ve been in the art game. And then I make an IG post like this, and suddenly I’m reliving 22 years of chaos, glamour, questionable life choices, and surviving purely on caffeine, adrenaline, and delusion! I’m VERY excited to announce my next big show:
I’ll once again be hocking my wares in a sweaty little tent at the legendary Toronto Outdoor Art Fair — aka Canada’s biggest outdoor art exhibition! Enjoy this reel of some of the highlights (and don’t mind my ever changing hair, glasses and waist size!) 😂 This will be my SEVENTEENTH year @torontooutdoorart — which feels both iconic and yet mildly concerning. Over the years at TOAF, I have:
• met 3 mayors
• been collected by the City of Toronto Art Collection
• gained gallery representation
• met fabulous CAREER-LONG collectors
• survived heatstroke, thunderstorms, floods, hurricane-force winds, and at least one emotional breakdown!! …and somehow I still come back each TOAF like, “THIS IS GONNA BE FUN.” So now begins my annual studio hibernation era….where I’ll be hunched over like a deranged mad scientist until July, cooking up a fresh batch of shiny new paintings from my Sign Language series. 📍 TOAF 65
Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto City Hall
July 10–12, 2026
Booth A-117 Currently I have nothing to show you yet. (Unless you count vibes, chaos and paint fumes!) BUT — not to worry - my fabulous newsletter subscribers will get the FIRST sneak peek online before the show opens, so they can snag the new work before the crowds descend like stylish art vultures. Sign up for the newsletter — LINK IN BIO! Catch you at the square…be there or be aggressively rectangular. 😜

HIII! It’s a new week, I’m onto creating new works AND emotionally preparing for my summer show season! 😝 WEIRDLY — there are STILL somehow a few paintings left from my “As Seen on TV” solo show @bluecrowgallery ! Honestly? Shocking behavior from all of you!😋 Also, I KNOW you’ve all been desperately missing the sound of my dulcet tones, so by overwhelming public demand (no one asked), here’s a video for this painting: “Did I Do That?”, 18” x 24”, Acrylic on panel, 2026 Inspired by: “Family Matters”, sitcom chaos, and “Sam’s AutoBody” in Michigan. If you love this piece, DM me before someone else with better taste beats you to it. 😇 Or you can go lurk the rest of the collection on my website. And remember…did I do that?Yeah. Probably. 🤓

Lately I’ve been neck deep in a full-on “Schitt’s Creek” rewatch — because apparently I enjoy laughing at the same jokes 47 times and emotionally bonding with fictional motel owners! And honestly? This Stevie quote has become my unofficial life motto! 🍸 “Faking Sincerity”, 28” diameter, Acrylic on canvas, 2026 The thing is… when a painting has been sitting around for 3 years with ZERO little collector “nibbles,” I know it’s time for a little glow-up! OR in this case the EXTREME makeover edition. Less “007,” and more “Miami pool party” 🌴☀️🍹 And now this beauty is AVAILABLE… again. 😂(Insert David voice: “Love that journey for her.”) Honestly, I’m obsessed with the brighter, punchier vibe and I think this painting finally found her personality. Hopefully the right collector falls in love with her this summer! So… what do we think of this makeover? IS it ‘a little bit Alexis’? Or is it more of an ‘ew, David’? DM me for the hot deets before this painting disappears into someone else’s collection!

Well….that’s all folks! 4 solid months of prepping, planning, painting, rigging, hanging, advertising, and instagramming has lead to this moment! “As Seen on TV” at Blue Crow Gallery… has come to an end. 💔 I am deeply grateful for my wonderful collectors and WELCOME to my new collectors!! I’m so pleased with the response to this show….it’s good knowing people “get” me….er….I mean…my art! 😋 I wanna thank Jodi and Erika and Maddy and everyone @bluecrowgallery who helped me make this show a big fat success! I also wanna thank @ethel20thcentury for loaning me a beautiful kitschy TV for the show. Finally thanks to all the folks who have reached out about this show, it was a labour of love, and your support matters! There is a selection of pieces still up at Blue Crow Gallery for a few weeks…so if you were on the fence, this will probably be your last chance!! You could still snag something online (link in my bio). OR DM me for details! Now on to preparations for my summer season! Cheers y’all!

LAST CHANCE, Y’ALL!! Two glorious weeks of my solo show “As Seen on TV” at Blue Crow Gallery… and just like a perfectly timed punchline, it’s coming to an end. 💔 Today is your FINAL chance to see it exactly how I meant it to be seen—so don’t pull a Blanche and arrive fashionably late when it’s already over! NOW…let’s talk icons! “The Golden Girls” — sharp writing, sharper wit, and four chaotic glorious gals who walked so the rest of TV could run. I’ve always been a Dorothy (tall, sarcastic, and perpetually done), and honestly? This show STILL holds up. Rewatch it. Thank me later! This piece, “Sicily”,18” x 24”, acrylic on panel -is my love letter to those fabulous broads —plus a little inspo from a restaurant I snapped in Puerto Vallarta back in February. Because obviously, every great story starts with “Picture it…” @bluecrowgallery ‘s doors are open 11–5 today—your last shot to see it IRL. OR skip the rush and snag it online (link in my bio). 👉 Don’t make me say it again: come through, fall in love, take something home. And as always… thank you for being a friend 💛

Only TWO freaking days left to catch my solo show “As Seen on TV” at Blue Crow Gallery — and I’m not being chill about it! This is your sign! LITERALLY!🤣 @Bluecrowgallery is open 11–5pm today & tomorrow. After that? Poof. You’re forked! Like a plot twist you didn’t see coming- and speaking of which… “The Good Place” is easily in my top 5 comedies of all time, so obviously I had to sneak in a quote. This piece is also inspired by the “Royal Fork Buffet” sign in Albuquerque, NM. Side note: these colours are sooooo forking good: “Shirtballs”, 15” x 30”, acrylic on canvas. And honestly? This one works anywhere. Kitchen, dining room, office, bathroom, hallway, bedroom… it’s FORKING perfect!!! 🚨 LAST 2 DAYS 🚨 Up until SUNDAY MAY 3 OR purchase this piece and all the available works online (link in bio) Get yourself to Blue Crow Gallery now BENCHES! 😜

This is the FINAL painting I finished for my solo show “As Seen on TV” @bluecrowgallery — and wow, did this painting put me through the wringer! I re-drew and re-planned this piece SIX. FREAKING. TIMES. At one point I was fully ready to abandon it, walk away, start a new life… you know, the usual. And then…when I thought all hope was lost…magic happened. Now…I’m obsessed!! I love how loose this painting feels, I love how it finally found its groove — with the torn billboard! I especially love the last-minute Winnebago addition- and it was so fun to paint! “I Am the Danger”, 12” × 36”, acrylic on panel. Heavily inspired by “Breaking Bad” (I mean, DUH!) and an amalgamation of a bunch of photos I took in Las Vegas. 🚨 FRIENDLY THREAT 🚨This show is ONLY up until MAY 2ND! That’s only a few days!! So get yourself to Blue Crow Gallery1330 Gerrard St E, TorontoMon–Fri 11–6 & Sat–Sun 11–5 Or snag one online (link in bio) before someone else beats you to it. Because if you wait too long…you’re not the one who knocks. Someone else is. 😉

The truth is out there…and apparently so is good taste—because this painting didn’t stick around long! Yes…“The Truth is Out There”, 30” x 40”, acrylic on canvas — IS SOLD!! The line belongs to “The X-Files”, and I leaned all the way into that eerie, “something’s not quite right here” vibe while painting. Spooky atmosphere? Check. Mild existential unease? Also check! This spot hits a little deeper than just aliens and neon, though. Growing up, my family made yearly trips to Niagara Falls, and every single time I begged to go to that UFO-themed diner. And every. Single. Time?? Denied!! Tragic childhood story, huh? As an adult, I’ve tried twice… and both times it was closed. Honestly, starting to think that’s the real conspiracy!! 😜 This is your last chance to see it IRL — until May 2At Blue Crow GalleryMon–Fri 11–6, Sat–Sun 11–5 The full “As Seen on TV” show is also up online (link in bio, because of course it is). And remember: trust no one…except the collector who bought this painting. They clearly know what’s up!

“Schitt’s Creek” got TWO paintings in my solo show because…DUH!!!Some things are just not up for debate. Also, Katherine O’Hara?? Criminally good. Daily-celebration levels of brilliance. I will not be taking questions at this time! 😜 Somewhere along the way, “FOLD IN THE CHEESE” became a lifestyle for me. Instructions unclear? Fold it in.Emotions complicated? Fold it in.Life falling apart? Babes…FOLD. IT. IN! “Fold in the Cheese”, 24” x 30”, acrylic on canvas. Inspired by an absolute gem of a storefront on Kingston Road in Scarborough — a casual 20-minute walk from me and a full-on 70s dream. The signage? Those breeze blocks?? COME ON! This painting is currently living their best life in the window at Blue Crow Gallery and is AVAILABLE — but only until May 2. Blue Crow Gallery 1330 Gerrard St E, TorontoMon–Fri: 11–6, Sat–Sun: 11–5 I am SURE this beauty will sell to the right kind of person…so maybe you should BE that kind of person! This is very much a “buy the art before someone cooler than you does” situation. 😜😜 Full collection available for purchase online (link in bio). Now if you’ll excuse me: I have to go fold in the cheese!

This is the last week to pop into the gallery to see the solo exhibition by Rob Croxford “Ass Seen On TV”📺 Raised by television and fuelled by Technicolour nostalgia, @robcroxford transforms iconic TV quotes into bold theatrical works of art . “As seen On TV” is a glitter-soaked homage to the sitcom, punchlines neon signage and Camp spectacle that shaped a generation. Each of these original paintings are unique and so well created with a splash of humour to top it off. Treat yourself to a fun artwork that is sure to be a conversation piece in your space. You can view this collection on our website as well if you were unable to attend the show in person. Link in bio.

This painting has been sitting pretty in the window at Blue Crow Gallery for a WEEK now…and apparently it’s a real head turner for passersby. Like…LITERALLY!! “I’m Coming to the Cottage”, 36” × 48”, acrylic on canvas & board. This painting is inspired by “Heated Rivalry”. And if you haven’t heard of this show…I’m gonna assume you’ve been off-grid in the arctic tundra or something, but I’ll allow it. Folks have gone CRAZY for this “gay love story” - or as I like to call it - a “love story”! 😇🏳️‍🌈 Not gonna lie, I’m used to bracing myself before watching 2SLGBTQIA+ content (hello traumatic death endings 😵‍💫), so it was VERY refreshing to watch something joyful & romantic! Not to mention 🍑🍑!!! 😜 OH….and this neon sign? Completely made up! Straight outta my brain. Some say genius (or maybe just a little delusion)! This painting is one of 22 fabulous pieces from my “As Seen on TV” solo show @Bluecrowgallery — that I have been posting about NON-STOP for the past week! AND yes, I’m calling it now: this piece is absolutely 100% going to sell. I have NO doubts! Should it be yours though??? You can only catch this piece IRL for a FEW. MORE. DAYS!!!! 📍 Blue Crow Gallery1330 Gerrard St E, TorontoMon–Fri 11–6pm, Sat–Sun 11–5pm The full collection is available for purchase online too (link in bio, don’t be shy). Insert sexy “Heated Rivalry” closing line here! 🍑 😉

IT’S A NEW WEEK!!! And this painting? She has a real Monday vibe for me…. “I Say Vodka”, 10” × 24”, acrylic on canvas. This is one of 22 iconic paintings from my “As Seen on TV” solo show @Bluecrowgallery - and yes, she’s still having a moment...but not for long!!!! Inspired by Karen Walker (patron saint of chaotic wisdom) from “Will & Grace”, plus a delightful sign from the Big Foot Inn in Wisconsin...this piece is super fun!! * Plot twist: You can STILL BUY THIS PIECE AND see the full show IRL - but only for a few more days (Insert dramatic gasp here!) Blue Crow Gallery 1330 Gerrard StE, Toronto HOURS: Mon-Fri 11-6 | Sat-Sun 11-5 So grab your flask, your alter ego, and maybe a friend who makes bad decisions - and go by Blue Crow — or skip the pants entirely and shop online (link in bio, obvi). (ONLY A FEW DAYS LEFT!)
