My little girl. The cheekiest lady. Boisterous, sassy, gentle, loving. Destroyer of tennis balls and any toy with limbs. Even when deaf able to hear a packet of cheese opening within a full square mile. Ice cream connoisseur. The loudest snorer in the north west. My little piggy.
You were my shadow for 11 years. You’ve seen me through the best and worst moments of my life with cuddles, kisses, and effervescent playfulness. You were my best friend and I never felt lonely with you by my side.
The last few months were tough on you but you remained the upbeat diva you always were. Stubborn and very vocal about what you wanted, even if sometimes, to your frustration, I didn’t understand. When the time came you took the decision away from me and went on your own terms, in the night, sleeping peacefully, with your daddy by your side.
The silence across the house when you slipped away was deafening. You made my life so full. I can’t put into words how much I already miss you.
