I don’t know how six years have passed already, but my little guy turned 6 years old today. I need time to stop going so fast. Here’s to another six (at least) wonderful years with my best friend. Happy birthday, Beau. I love you more than you’ll ever know.

One of the first things they tell you in journalism school is to not become friends with the people you cover. That was probably the first rule I ignored, to be honest. I covered Lee for quite a while before we became friends over the last several years. He and @leannepulliam have become like family, and being there for his debut in a NASCAR national series was so cool. 40+ laps led, a top five finish, fastest in practice. They knew the dude was there and that he is legit. Hopefully there will be more of these days for the Pulliam’s and hopefully myself and Catherine and Chloe can be there for them too.
Track 128: @kevinharvick ’s @kernraceway in Bakersfield, California. A fun trip full of In-N-Out, lost luggage, cheap sunglasses, endless oil fields, some film-making, and some race cars.
Kern Raceway lives up to the hype. An absolutely beautiful facility, with great racing, run by a wonderful staff. 10/10 highly recommend.
Chloe Jeanne is 2 months (and a couple days) old! She has grown so much and is the sweetest thing! We love her beyond words! Even Beau starting to “like” her
First Olympics, first Valentine’s Day, first Daytona 500 with her Nanny and Bumpy. It was a big week for little Chloe, but thankfully @_catherineblount_ had the perfect outfits to match all the occasions 😂
Happy Valentine’s Day to my two girls! What a crazy but cool thing to say. It’s barely been a month, but watching @_catherineblount_ step into this new role of motherhood has been the coolest experience. I’m so glad you’re my forever valentine. Love you mean it 😘
1 month of Chloe Jeanne and how in the world are we already here!? Chloe is learning her ways which sometimes includes screams and tears but overall she is a little love and lightens our world. 🎀
