I'm 19 years old, studying at my Conservatory in L.A. while working 2 jobs. One of those jobs was to be the PA for Kenneth Reynolds, and Public Relations+. I would come into his home office and find the most amazing, talented people from every walk of the entertainment industry, just hanging out.
One brilliant artist was Tonya Pinkins. She was awesome. I'll never forget her laugh. We were singing here, obviously, but I'm not sure what. What a cool time. I have so many stories from this era.

My entire modeling career in one massive box. 3 feet deep, and all the prestige one could ask for. Thrown in beige rectangular space that's too weak for its weight. I literally ripped the sides trying to pick it up. What a career.. 🌟✊🏽🙏🏽

The very next day after moving to NYC, I got this little job as a host at @elmorestaurantnyc . I did not have much money, but huge dreams and aggressive ambition. Little did I know that this small job would turn into a huge life that centered a great community who embraced me with such kindness, warmth and opportunities that didn't seem real coming out of a restaurant. I have decades of memories, countless pictures, and lifelong friends made at what I called home for over 20 years.
I made friends, lovers, booked magazine covers, runway, a movie, and even commercials all because of those who I met walking through the double doors of elmo. Everybody walked through those doors, and we provided an absolute party. It was a dream, so much so, that I usually forgot it was a job.
You all know who you are, who I've met through and love dearly due to the common watering hole we played at in the heart of our Chelsea.
