“Rat Race”
•
We run because we’re told to. Because the city never sleeps, and neither should we. Its always the next thing. Trading our presence for productivity, peace for progress. Convincing ourselves that the reward is just around the corner. But the finish line keeps moving.
What are we really chasing?
Stepping away, and feeling the earth instead of pavement do we start to remember. Life isn’t measured in deadlines met or titles earned but the moments we allowed ourselves to truly experience. The race was never ours to win. It was only ever a distraction from what matters most.

Got to cover a shooting competition with @team.bergeron and @directedbymarcos this weekend & said the shooters gotta shoot too. So, Bob ran ‘em down 😅
Today marks 34. No long-winded captions, the world scrolls too fast these days.
This was my first camera, the one I got around seven years old. I do a lot for that little boy now. I was too old for my shoes then and things I had gone through. It started as an escape and later learning to believe in myself. Life was strange back then, but I found quiet and peace in moments like these, frames that felt like home. Still do.
Believe in yourself when every circumstance tells you not to. Do it for the kid you used to be, the one who needed what you’ve grown to be. Believe in yourself even if you’re the byproduct of broken homes, broken promises, or people who couldn’t show up for you. You’re proof that something good can grow out of all of that. Cycles are broken quietly, one decision at a time.
Love y’all.
