Wow!!! I discovered some rare gems in the Blackaby treasure chest yesterday. These included
Slide 1: An offer from the legendary Chicago Bears founder George Halas to my grandfather Inmon Blackaby to play for the Bears. Letter written in 1937! He ultimately chose to the play for the Bengals but I don’t know why. Perhaps a $10 signing bonus??? Inmon was a 3 sport Hall of Famer at Butler U. Football, Basketball, Track.
Slide 2: 1964 Milwaukee Braves Yearbook. Hank Aaron and other greats.
Slide 3: Inside the yearbook - My Dad Ethan who had a couple cups of coffee in the big leagues with the Braves.
Slide 4: My Dad showing off his young swagger while enjoying a C-gar.

What do Olympic athletes and people navigating cancer have in common?
Pressure.Uncertainty.And a nervous system that’s doing its best to keep up.
On today’s episode of Rubin On Point, Dr. Dan Rubin talks with Dr. Robb Blackaby, DPT, ATC, CFMT —a physical therapist whose work spans action sports, the Olympic stage, and clinical care.
They don’t talk about training harder. They talk about regulation.About why more effort isn’t always the answer—and what happens when the body finally feels safe enough to adapt.
This conversation goes places we didn’t expect. And it doesn’t resolve the way most people assume it will.
