Last week I saw @robakajackflash and @jamettone at @thewatershedslawit with @babb_sabbath for their live improve / freestyle show.
I haven't seen Rob in person for 23 years. Since we battled it out for the Northern title of Battle Scars in 2003. He was 16 at the time 😱 and could have won on another night. A lovely moment was Rob telling the story and later meeting Kool Herc that night 👊🏻
His skillset has just kept evolving and it is rare to see freestyle rap at this level period.
