It’s the surf movies, the raw film and video footage, the still photos; all of these visuals have power to connect us to the ocean and surfing, and remind us of our deep love and appreciation for it all. A huge shoutout to our stellar judging panel this year- Head Judge Dylan Melamed- who is on his second year helping us out with organizing Live Heats and all the things Dave Hubbard- with his incredible commentary throughout the day keeping us all entertained Jason Irons- a steady and calming force of the Irons ‘ohana and a solid friend that always comes through to help out, no matter what Kainehe Hunt- a solid team rider and supporter of alaia riding And Rob Machado- what an honor to have one of our favorite surfers and alaia riders with us all day to even go toe to toe with some of our kids in the finals!
