Something a bit different this Jazz Friday 15th May @yamas.gastrobar I'm getting together some of my best muso mates from @wycombejazzfestival for an evening of eclectic jazz and soul influenced music.... warming up with Japanese Jazz Funk, and meandering to (slightly jazzified) K Pop with some local special guests along the way. Come and expand your musical mind :-)
And...to warm up the @wycombejazzfestival we're kicking things off with the Offiical Wycombe Jazz Festival Jazz Jam down the road at our friends The Front Room cafe on Friday 5th June. If you want to be sure to take part then preregister via the form at the link (just make it clear you are registering for the Wycombe Jazz Festival jam, not our regular Tring one...) there will be a house band and we really encourage younger musicians to sign up to jam @thefrontroomhw@zebrajazzcollective £5 admission to cover costs for all (performers & non performers).
Calling all Bucks / Herts / Berks young jazz musicians - The Phoenix Big Band will open the Wycombe Jazz Festival on Sat 6th June with a Big Band workshop.
