There was something special in the air last month at our first installment of POWER HAÜS. The music and the mood were perfectly aligned and that created one of the most emotional dance floor experiences we’ve had in a long time .
On April 11th we return with another 5hr (open to close) DJ takeover of our main room with long time Atlanta veteran @rob_dowell (warm art). He’s been putting in time since in our city since 2002 and pushing the deeper shades of Techno and minimal when very few were.
…in the café lounge, our newly named founder/resident NÃN @nan_sonics (formerly tocayo/limod) will be displaying a different side of his music taste as he takes over the chillout room from midnight to 3am. This time we will be reconfiguring the room to give it that 90’s Ultralounge vibe that will complement the music perfectly. This is definitely something you don’t wanna miss and won’t get anywhere else. If you’re a fan of Björk, Massive Attack, Boards of Canada, Portishead, and anything Warped records, etc this is for you.

This Saturday we have a special treat with special guest Direkt.
Emerging from Bucharest’s rich underground landscape, Direkt has carved a unique space within the global underground electronic music scene. Active for over a decade, his work has developed organically through parties, close-knit scenes, and label-driven circulation, rather than overt visibility.
The sound is defined by restrained progression, weighty low-end, and a careful balance between rhythm and atmosphere. His sets and productions move fluidly across minimal house, electro, and breakbeat, maintaining a focus on groove, tension, and spatial control.

For Bloomcast 015, we’ve enlisted @rob_dowell , a vinyl first selector and who’s been moving dancefloors since the late ’90s. Rob will also be playing at our monthly two-room party in partnership @alleycatmusic at @atl404exe , so consider this a mix a sneak peak of what’s to come.
His time behind the turntables began in Gainesville and continued in Denver, as well as, of course, Atlanta. The approach on this max exhibits a focus on depth, mood, and a slow but steady build up. And yes. It’s all wax.
